Our hearts—
a rose bouquet
tilled by rain
yet rooted in God’s promise,
soil that has transformed the storms
to life
that our love may be glorified
in the dawn
breaking before us--
possibilities once shrouded in shadows,
lush valleys wrought from yearning and fear,
veils parted to reveal His light
dancing on the sea
beckoning us--
Come
Walk on the waters.
Let our hearts be clasped in prayer,
Our lips touching in praise,
as we reach toward
the Son.
Our matrimony is an orchard
laden with treasures rooted in clay
that our love be reflected
in the eyes of God
and etched in eternity.
